Kirstin
Reagan is from Greater Boston, Massachusetts. She was trained from an early age
in the fine art studios of family and friends in the classical disciplines of
drawing, painting, fiber and couture, printmaking, drafting, and a few minor details.
Kirstin attended classes at the Golden Hand, Ltd., the Museum of Fine
Arts School in Boston, Massachusetts and the Harvard Extension School. These and
a self-determined curriculum of tools, chemistry, matter and mind became the base
of all future artwork. From the range of arts studied, Kirstin turned to painting
on silk as a medium which requires patience, planning, exploding in one momentary
proof of skill, producing the most exquisite image. The dynamic chemical material
is at once evidence of the artists' skill, but refined and precise, requiring
many levels of technique and planning to execute a single piece. The l heritage
of the medium spans time and space in continents and centuries for popularity
as the height of fine art. Silk
