Valerie A. Miller has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Massachusetts College of Art. She was also educated in the classic tradition, as an apprentice, with the Jeweller's Guild of Boston. Her original designs are exhibited and sold in fine craft galleries throughout the United States. In 1999 her husband, Gregg DiBiaso became

her partner in the studio. All their pieces are handmade by Valerie and Gregg at their home studio in Newton, Massachusetts.
I have been a jeweler and designer since 1983, but have been involved with my creative process since long before then. My first job was as a lapidary cutting stones for jewelry. I have also explored

texture and shape relationships as a printmaker, weaver, and in mixed media collage. I incorporate all of this experience into my jewelry.
